Navigating the app

The glowing orb is the heart of Epivo. It pulses when your tutor is speaking and calms down when it is your turn to talk. Tap it to start or resume a session — and press and hold it to end the session.

The orb changes colour and animation to reflect the state of the conversation — teaching, listening, or thinking.

Tap the menu icon (top corner) to reach:

• Learning plan — see what your tutor will teach next
• Sources — view references and materials for your courses
• Certificates — the certificates you have earned
• Preferences — language, theme, and (while a Premium voice is active) your teacher
• Sign in or sign up — claim your progress to an account
• Account settings — opens the parent dashboard in your browser
• Switch learner — change which learner is using this device
• For parents — hand the device back to a parent
• Report issue — send feedback to our team

Which items you see depends on whether you are signed in, and on how many learners the account has.

During a session the screen stays focused on the conversation. Between sessions you can explore your learning plan, change your teacher, or adjust your preferences.

Everything is reached from that one menu, apart from ending a session, which is a long press on the orb. There are no other hidden gestures.
