What is a teacher persona?
A teacher persona is a character with distinct traits:
- Name and appearance — each teacher has a name and an avatar
- Teaching style — some are warm and encouraging, others more direct and focused
- Voice — each persona comes with a fixed voice. The personas you can pick from are the Premium ElevenLabs ones
What changes is how the material is delivered, not which courses or topics you work through.
How to choose your teacher
- Open the menu
- Tap Preferences
- Tap Teachers — the row appears whenever your session is currently using a Premium voice
- Browse the personas — each card shows the teacher's personality and a voice preview button
- Tap the teacher you want and confirm
Epivo ends the session you are in and starts a new one with your new teacher. You do not need to restart the app.
Can I change my teacher later?
Yes. You can switch teachers whenever the Teachers row is available in Menu → Preferences. Your progress, courses and learning plan stay the same — only the teacher persona changes, and Epivo starts a fresh session with them.
